How to Reach
From Guwahati Railway Station (GHY):
- IIT Guwahati is about 18 km from Guwahati Railway Station (GHY). Exit via Platform 1 (Panbazar/Lakhtokia side). Limited IIT buses operate from Lakhtokia (near Don Bosco Church/Cotton College Boys Hostel, 0.5 km from the station) to the campus. Taxis and auto-rickshaws are also available for commuting.
From Kamakhya Railway Station (KYQ):
- The distance from Kamakhya Railway Station (KYQ) to IIT Guwahati is about 13 kms. For commuting from Kamakya Railway Station, you may have to hire taxi or auto-rickshaws.
From Guwahati Airport (GAU):
